Provincial administration officers have swung into action, a day after president Mwai Kibaki ordered them to contain the illicit brew menace. Over 2,000 liters of illicit brew was impounded in Nairobi's Korogocho slum. Elsewhere, residents of Ruiru have forwarded a list to authorities, of people they suspect are brewers and distributors of illegal brew.
