Nigeria: Gun attack kills 2 policemen

UPI.com: "MAIDUGURI, Nigeria, July 7 (UPI) -- Two attacks in Maiduguri, Nigeria, left two police officers dead and three soldiers injured, officials said.

The police officers were shot to death after they finished their work in the city's Gwange and Bulunkutu wards and the soldiers were injured in an explosion near a military checkpoint in Abaganaram ward, the Nigerian Tribune reported Thursday."
