Measles Outbreak in Nairobi

The government is confirming that there is an outbreak of measles in the country with the most affected counties being Nairobi and Garissa counties. The disease is however feared to have spread to two other counties in north eastern. To curb its spread the government is planning to roll out an accelerated immunization programme two years after the last programme to curb the spread of the sometimes fatal disease in the affected areas.
