South Africa Christmas Deaths


In yet another case of Christmas cheer turned tragic, a family in Githunguri is mourning the death of five of their members, wiped out through a road accident on Christmas Day in South Africa. But as if the loss of loved ones is not tragedy enough, the family is unable to transport the bodies back home for burial, due to financial constraints. This latest case adds up to the hundreds of families that have been thrust into mourning during this festive season, having lost their loved ones to road carnage. Sheila Sendeyo tells us more.
