Controversy over World Cup anthem

Organisers of the 2010 football World Cup in South Africa are under fire for their choice of singer for the tournament's official anthem.

Instead of going for a South African, they have chosen Colombian pop star Shakira and that has not gone down well with locals.

Darfur refugee camp 'hiding rebels'

Sudan's governemnt has accused Darfur's largest refugee camp of harbouring rebel fighters. The Kalma camp is the only one that is permanently protected by United Nations and African Union forces, but residents fear they may be driven out as the military threatens to take action.
