Anti-gay protests in Uganda

Over 4000 Ugandan supporters of the anti-gay bill demonstrated in Ugandas eastern town of Jinja against US president Barrack Obama and all those who support homosexuality. The protesters denounced United States President Barack Obamas attack on the anti gay bill advising him to leave Uganda alone

Darfur refugee camp 'hiding rebels'

Sudan's governemnt has accused Darfur's largest refugee camp of harbouring rebel fighters. The Kalma camp is the only one that is permanently protected by United Nations and African Union forces, but residents fear they may be driven out as the military threatens to take action.
