Dam project threatens Sudanese nubian tribe

An estimated 50,000 people are likely to be displaced by the Sudanese government's proposed Merowe Dam on the River Nile

The government says it is an essential project to counter an acute power shortage. But the Nubian tribe of northern Sudan, who live in the path of the dam project, think differently.
