Masquerade in court for theft

champion newspapers, "A popular Ibadan masquerade, Alapansanpa, yesterday appeared before an Ibadan Chief Magistrate’s Court on a three count-charge of assault, stealing and willful damage to property.

The Police Prosecutor, Sgt. Ade Adebusuyi, alleged that the masquerade and others now at large, committed the crime on June 16 at Kosodo-Eleta area of Ibadan during the ongoing masquerade festival."
