Mugabe holds lavish birthday party

Zimbabwe remains stuck in poverty and an economic crisis, but no expense was spared for the President Robert Mugabes 85th birthday. While thousands languished in hospitals with no staff or medicine, Mugabe and his loyal supporters celebrated the day with a huge cake, balloons, lobster, and champagne. Darfur refugee camp 'hiding rebels'

Sudan's governemnt has accused Darfur's largest refugee camp of harbouring rebel fighters. The Kalma camp is the only one that is permanently protected by United Nations and African Union forces, but residents fear they may be driven out as the military threatens to take action.
