Sowetan Seven students of the North West University will face disciplinary action over a racist group which surfaced on the Facebook social network site recently.
NWU spokeswoman Phumzile Mmope on Monday said this followed an investigation into the alleged involvement of students registered at the Potchefstroom Campus of the NWU as members of the group.
The Facebook group, called “ek laaik nie ’n houtkop nie, sou what”, also contained other racially abusive words and comments posted by members.
