Increase in Kenya's food prices affects families

The UN secretary-general has urged world leaders gathering at a summit on food security to make the "hard decisions" necessary to bring down soaring global food prices.

The price of an average food basket is spiraling across the world.

In Kenya, the post election killing spree disrupted farming and caused food prices to rise.
