Peace does not pay for restless Sudanese militia

Terra Daily: "Cradling a chubby child in her arms, a woman guerrilla who fought southern rebels for the Sudanese government is unrepentant: a pension from Khartoum or renewed war against her old foes.
'We will never surrender our guns to Khartoum unless it compensates us and if the SPLA tries to disarm us (by force) we will fight them,' says Khawala Abdullah Ramadhan, a member of the Fursan militia."
