:Colonial rule never served interest of Africans

Ghanaian Chronicle "The Paramount Chief of the Mpohor Traditional Area, Osabarimah Kwaw Entsie, has stated that colonialism and its imperial consequences have affected the growth and well-being of the people of Africa.
This is because colonialism, which was visited on the continent as a system of rule, never served the interest of the African continent, nor did it serve the interests of her people, except the colonial masters.
“Colonialism, apartheid and all forms of colonial rule of the African continent, before independence, never served our interests, it rather divided us more as a people,” the Paramount Chief charged."
