Ghana Broadcasting Corporation :: "Children below 18 years whose parents are yet to register with the National Health Insurance Scheme have been urged to encourage their parents to do so. The Awutu-Effutu-Senya District Chief Executive, Solomon Abbam Quaye gave the advice at a children’s forum at Winneba organized jointly by Plan Ghana, an NGO and the Awutu-Effutu-Senya District Assembly. Mr. Abbam-Quaye explained that refusal of parents to register with the District Mutual Health Insurance Scheme would affect their health requirements in time of crisis."
