UDF fires Mpasu

Nyasa Times "United Democratic Front (UDF) has removed its Publicity Secretary Sam Mpasu from holding the position following outbursts on the party's internal democratisation.
Mpasu has since been replaced by Mary Kaphweleza Banda who was elected at the party convention in 2003 as deputy to then Publicity Secretary Dr Ken Lipenga.
Speaking to Nyasa Times in a telephone interview, Mpasu confirmed that he has been relieved of his position and his deputy has taken over."
