Kenya President Suggests Coalition

Al Jazeera "The Kenyan president says he is willing to form a government of national unity after holding talks with a US envoy.

The US assistant secretary of state for African affairs arrived on Friday for a three-day mission to talk to the country's leaders as international efforts increased to resolve the crisis that has left more than 350 people dead.

After Jendayi Frazer's meeting with Mwai Kibaki, the presidential press service issued this statement: 'The president said he was ready to form a government of national unity that would not only unite Kenyans but would also help in the healing and reconciliation process.'"
