Government not to blame on ex-president comeback controversy, says political scientist

Nyasa Times "Malawi political science professor with the University of Mzuzu, Noel Mbowela says former president Dr Bakili Muluzi comeback campaign is newsworthy and of course generating controversy and has said blaming government or incumbent head of state is unwarranted.
Mbowela noted after Muluzi accused President Bingu wa Mutharika and his government for working behind the scenes in causing fragmentation in his United Democratic Front (UDF) ahead of its national convention set to elect a presidential candidate for 2009 polls."

Diplomatic sources at Malawi High Commission in London have said arrangements are being made to send her remains to Malawi. Kainja who was Dedza South West Constituency parliamentarian flew to United Kingdom for medical attention after a long-illness. She is survived by a husband, Emanuel Kaluluma and three children."
