Daily News: "A Durban Metro policeman shot his girlfriend and then turned the gun on himself on Tuesday, police said.

Inspector Michael Read said the incident took place outside the Metro police offices on Old Fort Road in Durban after midday.

'The Metro policeman was standing outside the building when he shot his girlfriend and then himself... at his stage it is unclear whether either of them died,' said Read."
