Ruling in child murder trial gets deferred

The Namibian Newspaper: "A POTENTIAL watershed ruling that was scheduled to be given in the High Court trial of child rape and murder suspect Lesley Kukame yesterday has been postponed until Thursday next week. Kukame (27) was set to hear yesterday whether Judge Kato van Niekerk has ruled that alleged confessions and admissions that he made following his arrest on child murder, rape and abduction charges in February 2005 would be admissible as evidence in his trial. The Judge however informed Kukame that she is still working on her judgement, in which many issues have to be dealt with, and that she will give her ruling on Thursday next week."
