President Al-Bashir instructs dropping remaining sentence of British teacher

Sudan Online : "President of the Republic Field Marshal Omer Al-Bashir instructed dropping the remaining period of the imprisonment sentence of the British teacher, Gillian Gibbons, in response to appeal of the British Muslim parliamentarians and her apology. President Al-Bashir said during his meeting with the British parliamentarians at the Republican Palace Monday that the step was a message that the Sudanese nationals and all Muslims who are held in prisons in the Western countries without bringing them before courts or making specific charges against them receive similar treatment. "
