Office of Malawi's VP under scrutiny

Nyasa Times"After almost three years of a non-functional office of the Malawi's Vice President, some sectors have raised their eye brows questioning if at all the country still needs such an office.
The development comes after media reports indicate that President Bingu wa Mutharika last week summoned six senior government lawyers to map the way forward on the Vice President Cassim Chilumpha's dragging treason case.
But the ruling Democratic Progressive Party (DPP) and the opposition United Democratic Front (UDF) have both defended its existence saying it was a constitutional necessity."
