Market Women Reject Old Currency

Ghana Broadcasting Corporation "A survey conducted by Radio Ghana has shown that some market women in the New Juaben Municipality are refusing to accept the old currency although it is still legal tender.
In a quick reaction, the Koforidua branch manager of the Upper Manya Kro Rural Bank, George Ofosu said it is illegal for anybody to reject the old currency since it is still legal tender."
