The Arusha Times(Tanzania) : "Series of bizarre killings taking place countrywide, including the recent lynching of two albinos in the lake zone area could be the result of an underground cult , a traditional healer has warned. Speaking in Arusha where he is currently pitching camp, the Dar-es-salaam based herbalist, Harun Kifimbo, known as Dr. Kifimbo said the society should not point accusing fingers to traditional healers over such incidences. 'This profession is getting saturated,' he lamented, 'nowadays every Tom, Harry and Dick is purporting to be a traditional doctor and in such an uncontrolled wave of imposters, some agents with deadly motives and cult missions can easily get mixed in.' Dr. Kifimbo was commenting on recent media reports revealing grisly murders of albino youths in Musoma region and previous cases of human skin and other body parts trade in Mbeya and Kilimanjaro regions. “As for the albinos, there were times when even here in Arusha such people, especially children used to be killed, just because they are different,” said Dr. Kifimbo."
