Fire destroys 100 houses in Mukuru, Nairobi

Kenya Broadcasting Corporation:: "Property of unknown value was Tuesday night destroyed after a fire razed over 100 houses in Nairobi's Mukuru kwa Njenga slums. The cause of the fire was not immediately established but residents blamed illegal power connections for frequent fire outbreaks in the area. The fire is said to have started from one of the houses before spreading fast to adjacent houses. "
