Fayose turns prayer warrior in prison

champion newspapers,"DETAINED former governor of Ekiti state, Mr. Ayo Fayose, has shunned the merriments of Christmas and Boxing Day for praying and fasting at Ikoyi prison.
But in a swift reaction, the Public Relations Officer (PRO) of Prisons in Lagos state, Superintendent of Prisons (SP) Ope Fatunkun, said that Fayose’s spiritual exercise was personal as the prison authorities provided enough food for about 2,300 inmates including the erstwhile governor during the festive period.
'If he refused to eat because he was observing his fast, that is his own cup of tea. Every body is at liberty to worship his God,' Okpe said."
