Cash baron still in custody

The Herald: "THE Harare woman who was arrested on Saturday evening while in possession of $10 billion worth of new $500 000 bearer cheques is still in police custody.

The woman, Dorothy Mutekede, is assisting police with investigations and was yesterday afternoon taken for questioning at the Serious Frauds section located at Ahmed House.

Several people phoned The Herald yesterday wondering how one person could have $10 billion of the new bearer cheques, barely four days after their introduction."
