Forbes For decades African hospitals had been operating entirely manually, from taking notes on paper on how many patients entered the hospital on any given day, to what type of care those patients needed, or where they were supposed to be directed to. The result was a major lack in efficiency, accuracy, or often even data about the patients they were treating.

The first lady of Lesotho has been arrested on murder charges, over the killing of the first wife of her husband, Prime Minister Thomas Thabane. Lipolelo Thabane was gunned down outside her home in June 2017.

Punch Officers and men of the “Safe Delta” Unit of the Nigeria Police Force, led by CSP Anieteh Eyoh, on Monday morning, arrested a notorious female armed robber, Bella Lucky, and two other suspects of a criminal gang at McClivers market area in Warri, Delta State. The armed robbery syndicate, who has been on the police wanted list, included two boys and a female. They are presently in custody at the Delta State Police Command in Asaba.

Sowetan Live   A woman was killed and her husband gravely wounded in a stabbing incident in the Hluleka Reserve, near Mthatha in the Eastern Cape, in the early hours of Tuesday morning. Independent sources within the emergency medical service, who spoke to our sister publication TimesLIVE on condition of anonymity, said the couple were in the province ahead of a wedding. It is understood that the woman was stabbed repeatedly and died at the scene.

ZambianObserver   South African pastor, Alfred Ndlovu has died of malnutrition after going without food for 30 days when he tried to emulate Jesus Christ and fast for 40 days and 40 nights. Buzz South Africa reports that the 44-year-old pastor left home on June 17 for a nearby bush to have prayers, just like Jesus did. Attempting to equal or break Jesus Christ record of fasting for 40 days, Mr Alfred Ndlovu died just a month despite having no history of illness.
