Revisiting the Yar’Adua Verdict

THISDAY ONLINE: "The verdict delivered the other day by the Presidential Election Petitions Tribunal in Abuja, dismissing in its entirety, as lacking in merit and substantiality, the petitions filed by the duo of Alhaji Atiku Abubakar and Alhaji Mohamed Buhari, presidential candidates for the Action Congress (AC) and All Nigeria Peoples party (ANPP), respectively, challenging the credibility and validity of the April presidential elections, on manifest grounds of electoral fraud, exclusion and widespread irregularities, a notorious fact admitted to by Mr. President himself, came as a big disappointment and colossal deficit to the gains attained so far in our nascent democratic experience."
