Times of Zambia: "LUSAKA police officer has been shot dead by bandits after he and his colleagues were attacked and disarmed on Saturday night.
The officer identified as Sergeant, Eugene Chitankwa, was an athlete and the Zambia Amateur Athletics Association (ZAAA) has described him as having been a resilient and hardworking person.
Sergeant Chitankwa was shot eight times by the bandits after he and two other officers were overpowered and disarmed in Lusaka’s Chipata township."
