Lawyer demands justice for conservancy labourers

Ghana Broadcasting Corporation "The Supreme Court Tuesday adjourned the case in which Nana Adjei Ampofo, an Accra legal practitioner, is challenging the constitutional right of the Accra Metropolitan Assembly to cause some Ghanaians to carry on their heads, human excreta in pans.

Nana Ampofo instituted the action against the AMA, asking for a declaration at the Supreme Court to order the Assembly to desist from the cruel, inhuman and degrading practice."
