Acting Kogi Governor Pledges Free, Fair Polls

Guardian Newspapers: "THE acting governor of Kogi State, Chief Clarence Olafemi has pledged a free and fair by-election in the state. He, however, vowed not to be intimidated by the opposition.
Speaking to journalists yesterday in his office, Olafemi said he was not bothered by the court injunction sought by the opposition to stop his him from being sworn in but warned that he would not spare anyone who crossed his path.
According to him: 'I am not afraid of the court, after all I have a case pending at the Appeal Court. So, whosoever goes against me, I will fire but if you are for me, there will be no problem.'"
