Liberia's Council of Churches Descend On Gov't

The Analyst Newspaper"The Unity Party-led government continues to come under serious criticisms for not showing interest in constituting the National Human Rights Commission of Liberia. Latest criticism comes from the Liberian Council of Churches (LCC).
LCC Secretary General, Mr. Benjamin Lartey, at a week-long training for human rights monitors in Gbarnga City, Bong County on Monday, expressed serious concerns about the delay by government to constitute the National Human Rights Commission of Liberia to enable it take a more proactive role in the ongoing reconciliation and reconstruction process."
