Ministers demand VP to resign or face impeachment 

Malawi Nyasa Times "Ministers in President Bingu wa Mutharika cabinet have asked Malawi’s Vice President Joyce Banda to resign from her position for “fighting her own government” or risk being impeached in parliament when it sits in November.

According to the constitution, the vice president cannot be removed but can resign voluntary or be impeached by parliament.

Ruling Democratic Progressive Party (DPP) has absolute majority in parliament and can possibly get the numbers to indict the vice president for impeachment proceedings."
