Mugabe on brink

Mugabe on brink: "HARARE - Zimbabwean leader Robert Mugabe is ready to step down after he accepted he failed to win the country's presidential election, a senior source in his ruling party and diplomats told AFP late yesterday.

At the time of going to press, the BBC was reporting that Mugabe was set to go on television and address the nation later last night."
