TARZAN BATTLES VRA for ¢BILLIONS

Ghanaian Chronicle "THE dispute between the former Chief Executive of the Volta River Authority (VRA), Dr. Charles Yves Wereko-Brobbey, and the energy generating company for the last two years over his ex-gratia award, resumed at an Accra Fast Track (FTC), where the plaintiff is placing special circumstances on the claims he is demanding from the authority.
During cross-examination from Mr. F.K. Yeboah, counsel for VRA yesterday, Dr. Wereko-Brobbey, who chairs the Ghana@50 Secretariat, noted that he could not be treated as other Chief Executive Officers of the authority, since his resignation was under special circumstances initiated by government."
