Ibori Pleads Not Guilty, Judge Shifts Hearing To Tuesday

Guardian Newspapers: "ERSTWHILE governor of Delta State, Chief James Ibori yesterday pleased not guilty, as his trial over charges of corrupt enrichment and money-laundering while in office resumed at the Federal High Court, Kaduna.
The second accused person, Mrs. Uduamaka Okoronkwo also pleaded not guilty.
Besides, counsel to the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC), Mr. Rotimi Jacobs drew the attention of the judge, Justice Mohammed Lawal Shuaibu to an allegation raised by Ibori's lawyers that the commission's officials allegedly stole his mobile handset while in its custody in Abuja."
