Will all Kenyans be given a chance to cast their vote?

New Vision Online"THERE are 800 potential members of parliament vying for 210 seats in the Tenth Parliament. With a bit of luck, barring any accidents, 210 men and women will be declared winners on the morning of December 28, 2007.

Those lucky individuals will have their fate determined by 14 million registered Kenyan voters. Yes, the 13 remaining days are going to be trying moments for parties and individuals alike.

This year’s elections are like no other elections in the past. This time round, it is a free for all affair that will see many new faces that have remained in the political doldrums come back to the august house. This time round, every Onyango, Kamau and Mutiso is on the ballot box.
